I've been working on a small experimental film that I'm screening tomorrow at an exhibition with other experimental filmmakers. If you're in the area of Savannah, hit it up. It's at the Sentient Bean on Park and Bull. http://tinyurl.com/pvy92k
I'll post the video when I'm done editing it soon!

The troubles of walking the path of a filmmaker
Everyone knows that no matter what you choose to do for life, you'll run into obstacles, as a filmmaker there is no exception. I attempted to make my last film, The Science of Silence, but fell through due to some issues. I wanna say that I am not quitting on this film, I'm still going to make it (planning this summer).
The biggest problem with being a student, or young amateur, is that you can't afford to pay actors and crew. Since this happens, it's hard to get people to sign on and commit. I've been trying to come up with a way to solve this and the only way I can see (aside from having people signing agreements) is to just make a great script and make them interested.
Think about it, make something good and worth while, and other people would want that on their resume or reel. Anyways I'm working on making the film while I stay in San Francisco this summer.

Production Work - The Science of Silence
I've been working constantly for 6 months on this project. We got some teaser posters ready for the film I'll put at the next post. A site that has been truly helpful for my cause is BuzzStage. They're a website for independent filmmakers, crews, and actors to come together. Good stuff they're doin over there. Anyways I'm going to be publishing shots of the set and crew as we go into production, so be ready.
This film has been my life for half a year and I would be lying if I said I haven't stayed up countless nights stressing over it. But film is my passion, and no matter how many gray hairs I get from it, I'll always come back to make more, until I die.

I constantly write nowadays I get inspired by pretty much anything it seems like. The other day I saw a girl drinking coffee across from me at a cafe, and I wrote a story about it. Anyways I digress, I'll post some of my inspirations and my new work.
